It's Official - Broken Masterpieces Endorses John McCain for President
Based on two thoughts I am supporting John McCain for the Republican Nominee for President of the United States. The two thoughts are:
John McCain at least will have a fighting chance against either Obama or Clinton. I just don't think Romney has what it takes in this era to be elected. This is not an attack on him as he seems like a darn good man. He's got that "too perfect" everything; hair, smile, wife, family, career. There really isn't much of a compeling story about the man. He made a ton of money buying and selling companies just doesn't impress the general public. The John Kerry parallels are striking. McCain clearly has some flaws and we know them. His compelling story is obvious as a POW.
John McCain has been been about the only voice right on the Iraq war which means he's uniquely qualified to guide us to victory in Iraq. He understands what we are up against more than Romney and far more than Clinton or Obama.
Both McCain and Romney are far better candidates than Clinton or Obama and I will support whoever wins the nomination. I just believe that McCain has a better chance of beating them.
