Indeed, Madonna's carbon footprint is dwarfed only by her ego - she has vowed that she will 'speak to the planet' at Wembley. In fact, an apology might be in order - for the superstar's energy consumption is only the tip of the iceberg in this epic vanity-fest.
Of course Madonna will now lecture the world on how we should all live. Hearing from rock stars who forget what a normal life is (paycheck to paycheck, etc.) a waste of time. This helps them feel good about themselves and now they can go off and do their thing.
Look, we should all do our best to recycle and keep the environment clean, no matter what we believe about global warming. I just don't need to be told by celebrities and politicians that don't do anything for themselves. Real life is hard as most of us don't have maids and nannies doing our dirty work.
