Sen. John McCain, considered the front-runner for the 2008 Republican presidential nomination, intends to launch an exploratory committee next week, GOP officials said Friday.
My current thinking is that John McCain has the best shot of winning in 2008. He's decent on social issues, wants to control spending and is strong on defense. Compared to the alternative (Hillary) I'm about ready to slap on a 'McCain 2008' sticker on my 4Runner.
