I can't believe it's been five years since the world changed. For a while, most Americans agreed we had a common enemy. After a few months things began to change. Many of our allies soon forgot and later more Americans forgot. What 9/11 did for me was crystalize that there really is a group of Islamic Fascists that will do what they can to kill people that don't follow their beliefs. As a country, we are forgetting that lesson. The duty of the leadership of America is to do all it can to stop terrorism. Just think of what our world will look like if the Islamic Fascists have their way.
What lessons have we collectively learned from 9/11? I don't see much. It just seems so many people have foregotten what happened and why.
