Today (Christmas Eve) is our most traditional days of the year. We always go to the 3:00 o'clock service at NCCC. Afterwards we go to a restaraunt for a quick dinner then head home. We get the hot chocolate going, bring out the donuts and turn on the Ralphie Movie:
We then do a small secret pal gift exchange (this is something we also do with our extended family). Then we head to bead and wait for the big guy to make his annual visit. This is a time all four of us treasure as it is truly something we do together. Someday, my sons will grow up and will create their own traditions and ours will evolve somehow. At least for now, I've got at least nine more of these in the coming years and will treasure them.
Merry Christmas!
