Today I was able to take my youngest son to his first air show at Miramar. What a great time it was. I'm so impressed with our military personnel and with the weapons we have. I got to see the B-2 do a fly by for the first time and was in awe. As the song says, "and I'm proud to be an American, where at least I know I'm free" - thanks to our military and the people who served before them.

I always think about this on Election Day whenever I'm confused, tired, or frustrated. For over 200 years, our soldiers have died, lost limbs, and suffered to protect our right to vote. We need to treat our elections as sacred privileges given to us by them.
