I've been off the blogosphere for a couple of days due to overwhelming work. I'm hoping to get home in time for the debates but we'll see. In order for Bush to do well I'm hopeful that Kerry will try his psuedo-Catholic stance in dealing with the moral issues of our day; abortion, fetal stem cell research and defense of marriage. Bush needs to explain how tax cuts help. In terms of spending Bush needs to tread carefully as he doesn't have much ground to stand on. Bush needs to explain the whole spending in the name of homeland security thing but needs to explain where he will put the brakes on spending.
Kerry will try to exploit the death of Christopher Reeve so Bush needs to have evidence about adult stem cell research and how that is yielding real results unlike fetal stem cells (AKA killing unborn babies for their stem cells). Bush needs to stand strong on this issue. If he wavers then many cultural conservatives will lose their enthusiasm.
Back to the grind....
