ESPN Classic - Caminiti, who admitted steroid use, was 41
One of my all-time favorite baseball players to watch died way too young. Ken Caminiti, an admitted abuser of drugs and steroids, died of a heart attack.
The reason I liked watching Caminiti was the way he played. The man totally let it all hang out on the baseball field. There was not a funner third baseman to watch. We all found out later that he went too far by using steroids. He also battled alchohol and illegal drugs and spent time in prison.
