True to form, the mainstream press is reacting to the Swift Boat Vets by supporting Kerry; CNN, MSNBC, Washington Post, New York Times, ABC News and CBS News. As I stated back on August 5th, it's not about Vietnam. Just the fact that Kerry went and Bush didn't means that Kerry wins this argument. It's ancient history. Let's get back to the war on terror. I understand the issues of making up or embelishing stories but if the lying and cheating Clinton can get elected twice then it doesn't matter about Kerry's stories of Vietnam.
All the press is doing is finding one problem with the Swift Vets story (and ignoring all the Kerry inconsistencies) and will focus on that issue. It won't matter what the explanation would be about the problem, the headline will favor Kerry. I'm sorry fellow conservatives, the press will not be fair on this issue as they have a distinct bias.
Personally, I believe 254 Swift Boat Vets instead of 8-10 guys who show up at various Kerry event (how much are they getting paid?). It still doesn't matter, the press believes their guy, John F. Kerry.

This is indeed all about the war on terror. The implication is that the one who is has the most military ethos will be best suited to lead the war on terror. Democrats know that will be the key issue. Sidenote: whoever takes on illegal immigration appropriately will win this election. That's all about the war on terror too.
>> if the lying and cheating Clinton can get elected
I'm not sure if Clinton could have been elected in a post 9-11 world. Democrats know this too.

They're being promised key positions in Kerry's "Department of Information Retrieval" (ref: Monty Python "Brazil" movie).
