FOXNews.com - Foxlife - Dodgeball's a Hit With Adults
How cool is this? As long as Big Unit isn't on the opposite team.
Posted by Tim at May 20, 2004 02:32 PMMaybe it has to be adult dodgeball. Do they even let the kids play dodgeball anymore on the playground? I figure lawsuits have eliminated an elementary school's will to allow it.
Can't wait to see the preview trailers for the new dodgeball movie this summer with Ben Stiller that the article mentions. You know the former playground nerds will win and the bullies will lose. Oops, gave away the ending.
Posted by: Tom at May 21, 2004 04:31 AMMy 9 y/o still plays dodgeball at school. I think it's only highly PC areas (I'm in San Diego) where dodgeball is "banned".
Posted by: trogers at May 21, 2004 05:48 AMChecked with my wife who teaches elementary school and she's a bigger liberal than I am. She said it's up to the individual teacher, but that she won't allow any games with her class on the playground "where kids throw things at other kids' heads." Too PC for me. Next they'll be playing baseball with marshmallows and foam bats. Where's all the fun gone? That does it, I'm voting Republican.
Posted by: Tom at May 21, 2004 11:58 AMI am all for the Rocket being on the other team as long as Ted Rall is on mine. I would take a shot from the Rocket just to watch him smack Ted Rall as well.
Posted by: StarkTruth at May 21, 2004 12:44 PMSorry the Rocket or the Big Unit.
