Posted by Tim at March 12, 2004 09:49 PMOne thing that is conspicuously (and refreshingly) absent is any Spaniards wondering why Al-Qaeda hates them, what did they do to provoke them, what despair they must be feeling, blah, blah, blah. There aren't any Spanish towns that I know of where the fire department is afraid to put a Spanish flag on the fire engines for fear of offending the populace.
