So...maybe Bush wasn't off base in mentioning this in the SOTU address after all...

I wish every professional athlete everyday would think to himself or herself, "It's not whether we win or lose today, but the most important thing is that millions of kids look up to me as their role model. And so I have a sacred responsibility when picking up my paycheck to make sure I've earned it by my upstanding, honorable actions on and off the playing field. I'm paid to be a role model as much as an athlete."
