Church Porn Site?

Tip to Adrian Warnock.

Check out XXXChurch, the #1 Christian Porn Site. OK, if you don't understand, it is an anti-pornography site. I just spent a little time checking it out. As a father of two boys the availability of porno is mind-blowing. There is absolutely nothing good about porno and I want to make sure that it stays away from my kids. Parents, my first real exposure to pornography was a friend who had access to his father's Playboy magazines. What is even worse was the father was a pastor. We need to be real careful but first we must set the exampe ourselves. Heck, just a few minutes ago I received an email that was pornographic without ANY clicking. Just going through my daily purge of SPAM it just showed up. I have a feeling that this will not get better. We need to be quick with the delete buttons and get rid of that stuff ASAP. We owe it to our God, our wives and our children.

I stumbled across that site by accident, and was so shocked, I immediately clicked it off.

But now that I know what it is, I'll have to check it out!

Those guys have the best, weirdest sense of humor I've ever seen at a Christian site. Andy Kaufman lives. I loved the way they're forging an alliance with a porn producer to sell their stuff.

But XXXchurch's comments on masturbation under their FAQ are somewhat to the right of the Salem witch trial judges, which makes me wonder about the group's sincerity. ("...You want to live a life that is honoring to God, then start pleasing him and stop pleasing yourself...God is calling us to holiness....")

So send them money, buy at their online store, and they'll help stamp out masturbation in service to the Lord? I think you might as well hand them your gold VISA card and let them charge it to the limit.

Call me liberal agnostic pond scum, but google the plot to "Elmer Gantry" before you send them a nickle. Maybe your local church that you already know, trust, and love could use the money instead.
