Pondering the Federal Deficit

The worst thing about the federal deficit is that the first reaction from too many politicians is to raise taxes to reduce or eliminate the deficit. Imagine a President Kerry; first thing he'll do is try and raise taxes and he'll do it by demonizing people who actually make money. Heck, the press will be on his side and you never know what could happen. I firmly believe that President Bush needs to take immediate action on this issue or there will be a big rise in our taxes.
