I'm just trying to understand why the Dodgers didn't get Alomar. He is worth the gamble and I think the Diamondbacks got the steal of the off-season.

Looks like we are down to just a couple of free agents with the ability to turn around a franchise: Vlad Guerrerro and Pudge Rodriguez. I doubt that the Dodgers are in the market for either one. Where is the reinvestment of the dollars that were saved by letting go of Kevin Brown?
