It amazes me that the MLB Players' Union would not let this trade happen. Why should they care if A-Rod wants to work his contract a certain way. He's an anomaly anyway. Imaging if this trade doesn't go through; you'll have a bunch of players ready to move on, have been told they aren't wanted and then have to go back?
I just don't want the Dodgers to give up any top prospects for Nomar. He'll be so ticked off, he'll leave so quickly after 2004 and the Dodgers won't have to give up anybody.
