It's good the Chretien is gone, he was really didn't do much for our friendship. Looks like he's got some major issues to deal with:
The Liberals' biggest domestic challenge is to rebuild major programs that have been cramped by reduced spending, including the military, the universal health care system and education.

Posted by Tim at December 12, 2003 01:19 PMWhat it doesn't mention is that these programs were gutted by... Paul Martin. He was finance minister for the first 7-8 years of Chretien's term and made his name reducing the deficit... by slashing these programs.
